Tandem Innovation Alliance is hosting a happy hour and fireside chat on Thursday, November 16th at the WeWork in Tysons Corner. We’re excited to welcome the cybersecurity community to talk about two of the most exciting programs coming out of DARPA and DHS.

Jacob Torrey is the DARPA program manager overseeing Cyber Fault-tolerant Attack Recovery (CFAR) program. The objective of CFAR is to produce revolutionary breakthroughs in defensive cyber techniques that can be deployed to protect existing and planned software systems without requiring changes to the concept of operations of these systems.
Dr. Nadia Carlsten is the program manager for the Transition to Practice program in the DHS Cyber Security Division. Her job is to identify promising federally funded cybersecurity research and accelerate its transition from the laboratory to the marketplace through partnerships and commercialization.
